Hello, happy 🐫 day.
Today I learned about this cool little thing called ncdu, or "NCurses Disk Usage".
Tl;dr: it's a good way to find large files.
More verbosely, straight from the docs:
Ncdu is a disk usage analyzer with an ncurses interface. It is designed to find space hogs on a remote server
My use case was a remote machine with some big ol' files somewhere or other (turned out to be unwieldy logs), and this sucker came to the rescue.
sudo ncdu /
That's all for now folks!
